Now Accepting Applications for the 2013–14 School Year
SCCAL is accepting applications for this school year or the 2013–14 school year for Grades K–8.
Current Students: Re-enroll
New Students: Enroll now
We are now accepting applications on a first come, first served basis. We have limited space available. If your child is accepted you will receive an enrollment package with an enrollment deadline by which all forms must be returned. If there is no space available in the grade for which you are applying your name will be added to the waiting list for that grade in the order received.
The applications for the current year are first come, first serve and we do have spots available on all grades. Enrolling in SCCAL now is the only way to guarantee a spot for next year. Current students have first priority for openings next year and ALL new students will go into a lottery for next year. If fewer students apply than spaces remain in any given grade, then all of students will automatically be accepted. If more students apply than there are spots for a grade, then students will be randomly selected with preference given to siblings.
If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of the school or a grade level on the application deadline date, a lottery will be held to determine enrollment.. The lottery will be supervised by the Board of South Carolina Calvert Academy and will be held no later than two weeks following the open application deadline. Current students will have first priority, their siblings will have second priority. New students in grades where lottery is not required will be the next priority, siblings of those new students accepted next, followed by new students pulled in random lottery, and then their siblings. then remaining applicants in randomly pulled order.
